Fórum Algarve shopping centre in Faro is the first in the country with an electric energy source for private vehicles.
People can now charge their battery powered cars for free at the Watt Drive, an EDP point for electric cars at the shopping centre.
This electricity point is part of a national network aimed at increasing the autonomy, convenience and comfort for users of these environmentally friendly vehicles.
The Watt Drive is located in the outdoor car park of the shopping centre, next to the parking spaces for motorbikes.
Charging is free for all those requesting the service at the centre’s information desk during opening times.
