Faro’s Forum Algarve shopping centre in Faro has received three awards which it says help prove it is a safe place to visit this summer.
For the second year straight, the shopping centre received the ‘Prémio Cinco Estrelas Regiões’ accolade in the “Shopping Centres” category, shortly after being awarded a ‘Global Safe Site’ seal of approval from Bureau Veritas, a company specialised in testing, inspection and certification.
As a result of these two prizes, Forum Algarve was also distinguished as a ‘Five Stars Safe Spot’ – a title that is only awarded to establishments that follow all the necessary Covid-19 guidelines.
“This award trifecta comes at an especially important time,” said centre director Sérgio Santos.
“To know that we renew the confidence of our visitors year after year and that we are still a must-visit location in the region is something that fills us with pride, but also responsibility,” he added.
