Families visiting Forum Algarve shopping centre in Faro from today (June 1) until June 13 are in for a special surprise as a new feature to celebrate International Day of the Child is expected to get young hearts racing with joy.
The special “Formúla K1ds” karting track, developed in partnership with Algarve by Segway, has been set up at the shopping centre’s Praça Central, which has been transformed into an electric karting facility.
For every €10 spent shopping at Forum Algarve, shoppers will receive a ticket entitling a child aged six and over (or accompanied by an adult when younger) to five minutes’ use of the track.
Alternatively, tickets costing €1 each can be purchased directly from the information desk at Forum Algarve.
The “Formúla K1ds” track is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 1pm and from 3pm to 8pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from 11am to 7pm.
Health and sanitation guidelines implemented by the DGS health authority must be followed.
