Former TAP chairman says he too may end up suing for unfair dismissal

Manuel Beja, the former chairman of TAP ‘dismissed’ in the wake of the ‘golden handshake scandal’ has told Expresso that he may end up suing the Portuguese State for unfair dismissal. Mr Beja was dismissed at the same time as former TAP CEO Christine Ourmières-Widener, who is suing TAP for no less than €5.9 million. He has told the weekly paper that his dismissal was both legally and morally ‘unjust’.
