Former national director of Portugal’s PSP police force, Magina da Silva, is to be ‘placed in Paris liaison officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Paris, reports Expresso today. But contrary to his predecessor, he will not be working under any kind of Statute, nor will he receive the salary of a “plenipotentiary minister”, which essentially means he will be receiving ‘less’ in terms of a monthly salary, says the paper.
