Former Olhanense man takes charge at Braga

Sérgio Conceição, who had a successful spell at Olhanense before moving to Académica, has been appointed manager of SC Braga. The former Portugal international made 56 appearances for his country between 1996 and 2003.
Conceição started his managerial career with Olhanense in January 2012 and took them to an eighth place finish; their best performance since gaining promotion to the Primeira Liga in 2009 under another former Portuguese international Jorge Costa.
Top goalscorer moves on
Olhanense’s top scorer Dionisi, on loan from Italian club Livorno last season, will not be returning for the new campaign whilst central defender Diakhite is attracting interest from a number of foreign clubs. Relegated Olhanense hope to appoint a new manager in the next 10 days as they prepare for life in the 2nd Division.
