Former Loulé Mayor receives prestige award

Former mayor of Loulé Seruca Emídio was awarded at a gala event held by the nation’s fire service in Lisbon at the weekend. Receiving his award for prestige, Emídio joined many others on the podium, both dead and alive. The event also served to award the eight firemen tragically killed forest fires that raged across the country last summer.
