Authorities in Luxembourg investigating “eventual irregularities” in the management of the Espírito Santo Group of companies are interested in interviewing former banking boss, Ricardo Salgado – currently on €3 million bail relating to charges of fraud, money-laundering and abuse of confidence. But, according to press reports on Wednesday, the Public Ministry is standing firm. Salgado is not to be allowed out of the country. Any interviews will have to take place in Portugal.
