Fires in the Gerês area of Portugal, north of Porto, have destroyed more than 450 hectares of natural park land.
Bombeiros tackled the flames for more than 30 hours.
The fires first started on Sunday morning, March 22, and 68 fire fighters, 16 Bombeiros vehicles and three helicopters were brought in to control the flames.
The GNR and PJ are currently investigating the possibility that the fires were started deliberately.
There have already been more than 2,000 fires in Portugal this month and Bombeiros fear that this summer could see some of the worst fires in recent years.
