The foreign ministers of Portugal and India have discussed the possibility of a direct flight between the two countries as part of an official visit to Lisbon by Subrahmanyan Jaishankar. Said the Indian minister at a press conference today: “There was some talk between us about a direct air link because it’s a missing piece in the relationship (…) We are very confident that our exchange will expand as soon as we can make progress on that. And we both place a lot of weight on the development of tourism,” he told reporters.
