2021 saw foreign investors from 83 countries spend just under a billion euros on the purchase of 1,767 properties in the ‘urban rehabilitation area’ (ARU) of Lisbon, reports Confidencial Imobiliário. The money invested is 20% greater than the total for 2019, which was dubbed at the time “the best year for foreign investment”.
