A party to raise money for two Algarve charities netted 5,000 euros last weekend.

The T-Club nightclub in Quinta do Lago, in conjunction with BeChosen Events, held a fundraising campaign in aid of Faro children’s home, Refúgio Aboim Ascenção, and Loulé charity for handicapped children, Existir, which culminated with the ‘BeHelpful’ party at the club on Saturday, August 15.

At a dinner held at the T-Club on Monday, a cheque for 2,500 euros was handed over to representatives of each charity, Patrícia Madeira, vice president of Existir, and Dr Luís Villas Boas, director of Refúgio Aboim Ascensão.
