In the midst of the Olympics, there is one sport that has yet to make it to the world’s premiere sporting event, namely FootGolf.
With 28 countries competing in this year’s FootGolf World Cup in Argentina, the sport is now being taken seriously.
On Wednesday, August 17 the monthly FootGolf Challenge at Colina Verde Golf & Sports Resort, Maragota, near Moncarapacho, gives all the family a chance to ‘have a go’.
So if you can kick a football then this could be the sport for you. To coincide with the Olympics, and its five rings representing the five continents, the team with the lowest score on hole five will win a special award.
Entry is €10 and includes afternoon tea. To register your interest, email [email protected]
