Portimonense football club players paid a special visit to Portimão Barlavento Hospital (CHBA) in December to bring smiles and words of comfort to children receiving treatment at the paediatric units of the hospital.
The young hospital patients were delighted to receive early Christmas presents from the players, Rubén Fernandes, Luís Carlos, Erick and Ivo Gonçalves, who also sang seasonal songs to cheer them up.
