My partner and I have been members of SC Olhanense for a couple of years and thoroughly enjoy the football and camaraderie.
We had friends from the UK visit us last week and it was with much trepidation that we took them to the game against V.Setúbal as Wendy had never been to a live football match.
It was like taking a child into sweetshop for the first time! Her eyes lit up and she enjoyed what can only be described as a fantastic evening.
The communal singing and chanting together with the non-stop action has now claimed another convert.
Thank you to all the wonderful Portuguese fans and the expat group who made them so welcome.
