TRANSFER MARKET: Top moves  By – SKIP BANDELE

ALTHOUGH NOT yet completed, Ashley Cole’s protracted move from Arsenal to Chelsea is set to be finally completed this week for a fee of 28 million euros with Wayne Bridge leaving for Newcastle.

Hamburg’s Dutch international defender Khalid Boulahrouz has already arrived at Stamford Bridge in a 10 million euro deal to act as cover for the unsettled William Gallas. Liverpool have added more firepower to their line-up with the signing of the 14 million euros-rated Holland striker Dirk Kuyt. The 26-year-old has scored 71 goals in just 101 appearances for Feyenoord. Out of contract, former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu has left West Bromwich for Portsmouth and immediately repaid Harry Redknapp’s faith in his ability with two goals against Blackburn.

Finally, Manchester United are hoping to capture Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich this week, although the German champions are reluctant to lose the midfielder. The Reds have missed out on Villarreal’s Marcos Senna, who is staying with his present club, and Lyon’s Mahamadou Diarra. The coveted Mali international has joined Real Madrid for 26 million euros instead.
