MOTORISTS IN eastern India have complained to authorities that an elephant continuously blocks the road and refuses to allow people to pass, unless they hand over food!
The elderly elephant was looking for easy food and decided to hit the motorway. It forced people to wind down windows or get out of cars, so it could check their car for food. One local, who had seen the hungry animal twice, advised other drivers to carry a banana or some vegetables in their cars. He said that the elephant would let the driver pass if he had food.
Apparently, if a motorist does not open the window or door, the elephant will continue to block their way until they do. It has not harmed anyone yet but one thing is for sure, if a motorist manages to get past, the elephant will never forget!
