Leaving your used batteries at your nearest Food Bank could mean more food for the poor.
This is the motto of the second edition of the ‘Pilhas por Alimentos’ (Batteries for Food) campaign which is taking place across Portugal until February 28.
Amb3e, the entity that manages Portugal’s Electrão battery collection points, will then hand out monetary prizes to the Food Banks that collect the most batteries.
