PORTIMÃO PJ are investigating the discovery of a foetus on Tuesday at the A-22 Cepsa service station, near the Lagoa/Silves exit.
A PJ source told The Resident that the foetus was found in the gas station’s toilets, inside a bin basket.
Due to constraints related with the secrecy of justice, the same source could not release further information but said an investigation is already underway.
However, Portuguese daily Correio da Manhã reported that the alarm was raised after a cleaner found the foetus amongpaper inside the toilets.
The foetus was transported to the Portimão branch of Instituto de Medicina Legal, the national morgue for further investigation.
