Flowers aren’t the only thing blooming this April

Text by Vale do Lobo

The fourth month of the Gregorian calendar, April, gets its name from the Latin word ‘aperire’ (to open), referencing the opening of flowers in what can only be described as the most beautiful season of the year – spring. And, in addition to flowers, April also means Easter, calling for tables to be set and dishes prepared for a family celebration.

In Vale do Lobo, we’re also shining a special light on our very own Earth this month, and will be running a Vale do Lobo Beach Clean-up on the 23rd April in honour of Earth Day. The clean-up is, however, only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to activities and experiences around the resort, with our usual calendar dotted with the classics, as well as a few surprises to watch out for.

On the 15th and 16th April, between 11am and 8pm, don’t miss The Spot Market Vale do Lobo Spring Edition at the resort’s Auditorium. On Easter weekend, the event heads south, making its first appearance in the Algarve, with a very special spring edition of its fashion, trend and lifestyle market at the stunning facilities of the Vale do Lobo Auditorium and Golfe Parque complex.

In partnership with Vale do Lobo, and with the support of Infralobo EM and Loulé’s Municipality, this first edition of The Spot Market brings together several fantastic fashion, accessories and lifestyle brands, swapping the city for the relaxed and sunny atmosphere that only the Algarve can offer. Everything is set so that visitors can have an excellent experience during their visit and shopping.

Throughout the event there will be music, food & wine options, lots of fun and children’s entertainment, to enjoy the space in all tranquillity and comfort, while checking out the latest trends in the new Spring-Summer season! The event will take place at the Vale do Lobo Auditorium, gardens and circulation areas of the Parque do Golfe complex, in a warm and inviting environment that ensures all the comfort and convenience.

Also, and in solidarity with these difficult times we’re going through due to the current situation in Ukraine, during the event we’ll be having a fund raising in collaboration with the Wolf Valley Charity Fund Association and The Captain Gutsy, which will revert in full to support refugees of this humanitarian crisis.

If you are in the Algarve, whether you’re a resident or on holiday, join us for some great family fun in this super special edition of The Spot Market. Admission and parking are free.

Here are some of the brands present at the event:

ADT, Algarve Rock Brewery, Anahí, Aumar Swimwear, Colares&Pendurezas, Collage Art by Philippe Patricio, CX Handmade, Descobrir Tempos, Elsa Pires – luxury Collection, Fátima Palma, Free Soul Project, Laranja aos cubos, M’Choices, Malva, Maria Beirão, Maria Pailona, Microclimas, Mio Jewels, Panareha, PVF for Women, Raiz Company, Subtil & Sublime, Suuim, Store TSM and Together among others.
