Flight information for Thursday, November 24

Most major airlines flying to and from Portugal have cancelled their flights on Thursday, November 24, when a national strike is being held in the country.

The only exception is Monarch, who have announced that all flights scheduled to operate to Faro that day will be diverted to Seville and coach transport provided to/from Faro.

Customers booked to travel to Faro are advised to check-in as normal. On arrival in Seville, onward coach transportation has been arranged to Faro Airport.

Customers booked to travel from Faro will be transported from Faro Airport, leaving at 7.30am, to Seville Airport where they will be checked-in for their flight.

Easyjet passengers booked to fly on that day have been offered free transfers to flights on other days or a refund. Full details are available at:

Ryanair have cancelled some flights on Wednesday, November 23 and all flights on November 24.

Passengers who were booked to travel on one of the cancelled flights can transfer to the next available flight free of charge or apply for a refund on their unused flight(s).

British Airways ask passengers to check the status of their flight before leaving for the airport and ask that people do not travel to the airport if cancelled.
