Only a few hours after a woman was killed in a violent accident on the EN125 road near Lagos (click here), five other people were injured in a car crash on the EN125 near the AlgarveShopping mall in Guia.
The accident happened at 11.45am in front of the Giga Garden store.
The circumstances are unclear. All that is known is that the crash was between a van from transport company GreenBus and a car.
None of the five people were seriously injured, though two were taken to Faro Hospital and the other three to Albufeira’s emergency health unit.
Traffic had to be cut off creating bottlenecks on a road already marred by long, ongoing renovations.
