A UNIQUE spectacular commemorating 50 years of Fado takes place tomorrow (March 12) at Faro’s Pedro Ruivo Auditorium. The show ‘Quatro Cantos – Five Décadas de Fado’ features Maria Armanda, António Pinto Basto, Teresa Tapadas and José da Câmara, in the roles of the most famous names of the genre, including Alfredo Marceneiro, Hermínia Silva, Amália Rodrigues, Fernando Farinha, Tony de Matos, among others. Taking the form of a chronological journey through the history of Fado, the show features a narrator and makes full use of multimedia technology to furnish a cinematic background for the performers.
