The Garcias Cash Albufeira store will celebrate its fifth anniversary with big discounts on wines, spirits and several other products between Saturday and Wednesday (April 6-10).
The store stocks over 10,000 brands and is owned by Garcias SA, a beverage distribution company in Portugal. It was the second store of its kind that the company opened and the first in mainland Portugal.
“The cash&carry concept was created six years ago when we opened our delegation in Madeira and it has been, without a doubt, a success. The store in Albufeira is a true success story and stocks the most brands of all,” said the company’s administrator Filipa Garcia.
In fact, the 1,300sqm store registered a 15% increase in sales in 2018.
Garcias SA owns six stores in Albufeira, Portimão, Évora, Setúbal, Funchal and São Miguel which employ over 70 people. In a statement, the company says its cash&carry stores register a turnover of around €7 million.
Garcias Cash Albufeira is located in Vale do Paraíso near the EN125 road. It is open Monday to Saturday, between 8.30am and 8pm, and on Sunday between 9am and 1pm.
