Five Algarve towns among Portugal's Top 10 destinations

The Algarve is flying the flag again for national tourism, with five of its towns listed in the nation’s top 10 best.
In a study by Bloom Consulting, Faro, Albufeira, Tavira, Lagos and Portimão were all singled out for their excellence in the categories of business, tourism and quality of living.
And while the five towns were singled out for their touristic performance, Faro was considered the eighth best city to live in, the 12th best to visit and the 16th most business-friendly in Portugal.
Albufeira has been considered the best town to visit in the Algarve. The goal of the study, dubbed Bloom Consulting City Brand Ranking 2014, was to “measure the efficiency of the strategy each municipality uses to manage its brand”.
