A young couple died in a tragic fishing accident on Sunday night (July 6) in Faial in the Azores.
They had been fishing with the young man’s father when the woman was swept out to sea by a big wave. Both father and son held on to rocks, but the young man, 28, let go to try and save his girlfriend, 26.
Their bodies were later found by maritime authorities.
