Members of the Ferragudo lifeboat station rescued a fisherman who suffered a head injury after accidentally falling off a boat that was travelling four nautical miles (around seven kilometres) south of Portimão in the early hours of this Friday morning. Authorities were alerted by a family member.
Despite having hit his head, the man was conscious when rescue services arrived and took him to hospital.
