The first feminist school is due to open in Lisbon on Wednesday. Called Manamiga (an amalgum of the words ‘sister friend’) it has been inspired by feminist schools that exist in other countries – the idea being that courses are run both ‘in house and online’, and the space serves not only as a place of learning, but one to ‘share knowledge’.
