For many years, Carvoeiro-based social club CASA has been holding what members call ‘The After-Hangover Dinner’, which is the first event of the year, a joint “goodbye last year-welcome new year” dinner.
On January 18, 50 members joined in the celebration at one of CASA’s favourite restaurants, Brasserie Rosal, just outside Carvoeiro.
A spokesperson for CASA said: “A full and varied menu guaranteed another great evening at this very atmospheric restaurant, with the owner always ready to go that extra mile to ensure our members are happy; an enjoyable and fun evening for all. The wine flowed, the food was good, and the staff were very attentive, but never invasive. Naturally, we will be returning here, hopefully soon.”
The next event will be a post-Valentine’s lunch on Saturday, February 15 at Restaurant Ponto de Encontro, also in Carvoeiro.
