A tactical command firefighting vehicle (VCOT – Veículo de Comando Tático), equipped with the latest communications technology, was donated by Portimão Câmara to the city’s Volunteer Firefighters Unit. The hand-over ceremony was held on the day of the opening of the Portimão Sardine Festival on August 3. The vehicle will reinforce the Bombeiros’ fleet of 28 operational vehicles.
