Firefighter run over by engine in ‘theatre of operations’

A firefighter was seriously injured yesterday after being run over by a fire engine in the theatre of operations of a fire in Midões, Tábua. With the ‘acute firefighting season’ now underway, and temperatures likely only to increase this week, this was one of the first major injuries of this summer.
