A Lagoa-based firefighter has died following a motorcycle accident.
Police are investigating the accident, which took place on the EN125 road between Lagoa to Portimão.
It is thought Paulo José Costa dos Santos, 29, a well known member of the community whose father is also a firefighter in the same force, hit a signpost and died instantly in the early hours August 11.
