The Carvoeiro office of Fine & Country International Realty opened its doors on Thursday August 1.
The spacious office is spread over two floors with a showroom and lounge area on the ground floor along with the main office space. Interior designer Joana Alcock helped Fine & Country Carvoeiro’s managing partner Zoie Hawker define the colour scheme and décor of the space, with design elements linking in strongly to Fine & Country’s international branding.
“We have worked hard to create something totally different for Carvoeiro,” said Zoie. “We wanted to create a comfortable and welcoming space where our vendors, buyers and property management clients can call in for a chat and a cup of coffee.”

The central location on Rua do Barranco, next door but one to the Caixa Geral bank, was strategically chosen, being close enough to the village centre but also out of the hubbub, with plenty of metered parking meaning that even in the high season it is always possible to park very close to the office.
Fine & Country Carvoeiro, the only branch in the Algarve, works closely with Fine & Country Cascais near Lisbon, tapping into foreign markets through Fine & Country’s international network of over 500 offices in 275 locations around the world.

Internationally, Fine & Country specialises in the sale of luxury properties and in Carvoeiro the brokerage service is backed up by a property management and maintenance department.
This month is a soft opening period for the company with just Zoie and Property Manager Patrícia Candeias in the office, but they will be joined by two more full-time staff members from September 1. “Our main focus at the moment is on building up our portfolio of properties for sale and creating our Fine & Country website, which will go live with a property search facility in September,” said Zoie.
The company has created a local website, www.carvoeiro-property.com, with a wealth of information about Carvoeiro and property-related matters.
