Fine & Country goes west

Fine & Country goes west

Long-established Western Algarve estate agent Chris Garveigh and his wife Jacqui Holt are the latest addition to the growing international network of Fine & Country agents.

Chris and Jacqui’s company, Ocean-Country with prime location offices in Praia da Luz and Lagos, has taken the Fine & Country licence for the area to the west of Alvor joining the Fine & Country Carvoeiro office from where the rest of the Algarve is covered.

Chris has worked as an estate agent in the Western Algarve since the mid-80s and his family has been active in the Algarve real estate business for over 40 years involved in the development of the Ocean Club, Luz Bay Club and Funchal Ridge amongst other projects.

The first phase of the rebranding saw Ocean-Country’s Praia da Luz office re-opened as Fine & Country this week with the Lagos office on the main Avenida to follow in January.

“We are excited to become a part of such a strong international network specialising in high quality properties,” said Chris.

With its headquarters on Park Lane in London and offices in over 275 locations worldwide, Fine & Country is today one of the leading international names in luxury real estate brokerage.

“Fine & Country Western Algarve will work closely with the Carvoeiro and Cascais offices as well as the international network offering vendors unprecedented marketing reach,” said Chris.

Best International Real Estate Agency Marketing award for the fifth year running

Just last week, for the fifth year running, Fine & Country was the winner of the Best International Real Estate Agency Marketing award at the International Property Awards in London.

Despite being in only its 11th year, Fine & Country has been a standout success story in the world of residential property, surpassing long-established estate agencies from around the world including Savills Singapore, CB Richard Ellis Thailand, Sotheby’s International Realty, Prestige Real Estate International, Millenium Estates, Hammond Residential and Foxtons to win the award.

The awards, which were sponsored by Virgin Atlantic and Yamaha, were judged by over 70 leading industry experts located all around the world.
