Carvoeiro-based real estate specialists Fine and Country have sponsored a successful fundraising black-tie ball in the UK for “Headway”, the charity for people with head and brain injuries.
The event saw nearly 200 people enjoying an evening of fine food and wines at the famous Stoke by Nayland Golf Club and Spa in an evening themed ‘Headway goes to Hollywood’.
There were lookalike appearances by Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and George Clooney as well as a charity auction which saw thousands of pounds raised for the charity with bidders vying for lots that ‘money cannot buy’.
Richard Lamberth, a director of Fine and Country and former trustee of Headway, said: “Successful businesses like ours have, in our view, a moral obligation to support the fantastic charity work which
organisations like Headway do every day – and there is nothing wrong in having a little fun along the way!”
