I am a supporter of the McCanns and find that most of my fellow British Algarve residents are too.
I and others feel that the McCanns have had insult added to injury in the way they have been treated by the police and some of the media. Where James Marshall (Algarve Resident June 1) gets the idea that most of us do not support them I do not know.
If the police report he refers to (by Gonçalo Amaral, no doubt ?) says Madeleine is “most likely to have died in the apartment”, does it also explain why her body was not found there?
Did someone remove it and where did they hide it? Why has it still not been found? Mr Marshall and the police should consider these questions carefully and stop spreading unfounded innuendos.
