To mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17, the Silves-based charity Castelo de Sonhos will be holding a day of seminars at the Fissul Centre in Silves.
The sessions begin at 9.30am with speakers including Isabel Soares, the president of Silves Câmara, and Liliana Rodrigues, the president of the charity and volunteers from the food bank.
On October 16 the charity will have a stall at the arts and crafts fair being held at the Fissul centre and will be providing soup to visitors all day.
