Several restaurants in the councils of Faro, Loulé, Tavira, São Brás de Alportel and Olhão are supporting a cause to help combat hunger in the area.
The restaurants will be donating €0.50 per meal served to CASA, the Support Centre for the Homeless in Faro, as part of the ‘Fight Hunger in the Algarve’ campaign
Diners wishing to contribute towards the initiative should look out for a poster, with the words ‘Fight Hunger in the Algarve’, visibly displayed at the establishments.
The campaign, organised in conjunction with the Algarve’s Association of Hoteliers and Similar Businesses (AIHSA), runs until Sunday, August 5.
