Silves is this year putting on a special Christmas event featuring an ice rink as the main attraction, Santa’s grotto and even “snowfall”.
Taking place place from December 1 to January 7, 2018 at the Al-Muthamid square, the event is called ‘Silves Alegria do Natal’ and promises to be a fun occasion for the whole family.
Visitors can try the 400sqm ice rink, visit Santa in his grotto, delight with a bubble blowing snowman, experience “snowfall”, listen to Christmas music and participate in the many fun activities on offer.
These are some of the highlights of the ‘Silves Alegria do Natal’ event, which takes place daily from 2pm and 10pm (except December 24, 25 and 31, and January 1, 2018, when it will be closed).
