Santa Luzia, the picturesque riverside town in Tavira, is hosting a Christmas fair this weekend (December 16-18).
Taking place in front of the local church, the event is aimed “mainly at children” though it promises festive fun for adults as well.
Santa Claus is set to arrive on December 16 at 4.15pm, and at 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be several musical performances, bouncy castles, kart racing, face painting, magic shows and even Zumba dance classes.
The fair will also include stalls selling handicraft and regional sweets.
It will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, between 2pm and 8pm.
Entrance is free.
