An eco-friendly ice rink, an adventure park, a carrousel and a Christmas train are only some of the attractions at Loulé’s Christmas village Aldeia dos Sonhos which can be visited until December 29.
The fun-filled village is divided into four areas near Cerca do Convento and Alcaidaria do Castelo as well as the Dom Afonso III and São Francisco squares.
Also scheduled are several plays aimed at children, with the next taking place on December 21, 22 and 28.
Loulé’s children choir will also be bringing the event to a close with a performance at 4pm on Sunday, December 29.
Aldeia dos Sonhos can be visited for free and is open from 2pm to 7pm between Tuesdays and Fridays and on Sundays and from 10am to 7pm on Saturdays. It will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Christmas Eve and from 3pm to 7pm on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The village closes on Mondays.
