The parish of Ferreiras in Albufeira’s câmara is again celebrating the summer season with a traditional event, the Festa Popular, this year taking place on August 19.
The Festa Popular, which starts at 7pm at the Parque Desportivo da Nora, includes stalls selling typical Portuguese foods and music by local artists to dance the night away.
Each year hundreds of people attend the event.
Entry is free.
