The historic village of Ferragudo will be hosting a ‘Dia do Pescador’ (Fisherman’s Day) celebration this Saturday (June 3) at 4.30pm.
Organised by the fishermen’s association, the festivities will take place near Ferragudo market and include live music, grilled fish and a variety of ‘petiscos’ (Portuguese ‘tapas’).
Three other ‘Dias do Pescador’ will be held at the same venue on July 1, August 5 and September 2.
