A NEW Feira Nova supermarket has recently opened in the Penha area of Faro, bringing the total number of stores in Portugal to 30.
Owned by the Jerónimo Martins Group, the Feira Nova brand has proved extremely successful with a total of nine hypermarkets and 21 medium sized supermarkets throughout Portugal, employing a total of around 4,600 staff. On the day of the opening in Faro, T-shirts were given away bearing the Feira Nova logo, along with five-euro vouchers to spend in the Faro store. Feira Nova promises to offer the lowest prices in the region without compromising on quality.
