Mobile phone customers reaching the end of a contract can now switch to another network without having to pay a fee.
Approved on March 11 by the Council of Ministers, this measure prohibits telecommunications operators from charging when a customer wants to switch supplier.
According to Minister of Economy, Vieira da Silva, this will “promote competition and better protect the consumers”.
