Last week, following claims by Algarve MEP Mendes Bota that the government is “discriminating against the Algarve” in this year’s public spending budget, we asked readers if they thought that the government should be doing more financially to aid the Algarve.
A total of 70 per cent of voters felt that the Algarve should be helped more by the government financially, while 30 per cent disagreed.
