Bowls Portugal celebrated Father’s Day with a tournament at Vilamoura Lawn Bowls Club on June 20.
The event was well supported, with around 50 people taking part and representing all of the Bowls Portugal member clubs.
The ladies pairs were won by Kate Hewitson and Evelyn Gilbert from Vilamoura while the men’s pairs winners were Geoff Wright and Jeff Cross from Isla Canela.
Winners of the triples competition were John Hewitson from Vilamoura who teamed up with Henry Parlour and Joaquim Romano from Valverde with overall team winners being Isla Canela.
