CCTV footage of last Saturday night in the Cais de Sodré area are being studied by detectives in the hope that they yield some clues as to the identity of whoever shot and killed a 20-year-old man. The victim was shot twice in the head (a third shot missed him). Despite there being “hundreds of people in the area at the time” (2.30am on Sunday morning, just after bars closed), no-one this far has come forward with any useful information. It is not believed the shooter and the victim were known to each other. The shots appear to have been fired following a discussion between two groups (click here).
