A BRAZILIAN woman was found dead last week after allegedly falling from the eighth floor of her apartment building in Portimão.
Police interrogated her partner after neighbours said they saw him leave the apartment after the incident. When he returned to find the emergency services there, he appeared confused and attempted to call the victim’s mobile phone to find out what the commotion was.
Incidentally, the victim had filed a complaint with the police against her partner for allegedly beating her. Neighbours said arguments between the couple were frequent and her partner was often drunk.
