Organisers of the 25th Fatacil Fair, the Craftwork, Tourism, Agriculture, Commercial and Industrial Fair held in Lagoa, believe that this year’s event has the potential to be the most spectacular yet,despite a reduced budget of 600,000 euros – 10 per cent down on last year. José Inácio, President of the local authority, says this year’s budgetary constraints will not affect the quality of the event. With around 800 exhibitors and a wide range of musical entertainment, organisers insist that the annual summer extravaganza will be as interesting and as popular as ever. Fatacil takes place from today (August 20) until August 29.
